Privacy policy

Last updated 28 September 2026. MCPVerdicts (mcpverdicts.com) is operated by BrandOwl Promo. This policy explains what information is handled when you use the site, the JSON API, or the /mcp endpoint.

No accounts, no tracking

You can use MCPVerdicts without an account. The site does not use advertising, analytics, or tracking cookies, and it does not sell or share personal information.

Server and access logs

The site is hosted by Hostinger, which serves pages through its content delivery network. Like any web host, it automatically records technical request data — IP address, date and time, requested URL, browser user agent, and response status — to deliver pages, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot problems. These logs are kept only as long as the hosting provider needs them for those purposes and are not used to build profiles of visitors.

Search queries and API requests

Searches and API or MCP requests are processed to return results and are not stored with any identity. Search terms may appear in the requested URL and therefore in the access logs described above.

Emails you send us

If you email morgan@brandowlpromo.com, we use your message and address only to respond, review a correction, or verify listing ownership. We keep that correspondence as long as needed to handle the request and maintain a record of changes to the charts.

Public ranking data

Charts are built from publicly published measurements — platform use counts, package downloads, and repository stars — about software projects, together with their public source URLs and collection dates. They do not contain personal information about the people who use those projects.

Publisher submissions

Ownership claims and usage evidence are not currently accepted through the site. If a publisher workflow is introduced, this policy will be updated before it opens, describing what is collected and how it is stored.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, and to have it corrected or deleted. Email morgan@brandowlpromo.com and we will respond within 30 days.

Children

MCPVerdicts is a developer resource and is not directed at children under 13.

Changes

We will update the date above when this policy changes. Material changes will be noted on this page.
